JAC Management Announces Huntington Bank as Community Alley Sponsor

The Huntington Bank Community Alley will be a unique location inside The Riverfront Park complex.

Huntington Bank Community Alley will allow for nearby access to the great lawn for larger events. Additionally, the Huntington Bank Community Alley includes streetscape power that has been distributed for vendors, food trucks and special entertainment. The location will be prime to host private community events and special interest festivals, craft shows, and makers’ markets.

JAC Management Group manages the 22-acre park which includes the Huntington Bank Community Alley. JAC Management President, Eric Ryan, commented on the decade-long sponsorship of community alley: “Before the park and amphitheatre even broke ground, Huntington Bank expressed interest in not only supporting the project but contributing financially and developmentally to it. We can always count on William Shivers, Sandy Upperman, and the entire Huntington Bank team to be passionate, excited, and willing to contribute to all the exciting things we do in Youngstown, not only at The Covelli Centre but now with our new venture at the park. We are truly thankful for their significant support.”

Adding to its already prolific community support and improvement endeavors, Huntington Bank’s involvement in the development of community alley is a perfect fit. “Huntington is honored to support this collaborative renovation endeavor for the betterment of Youngstown and this region,” said William C. Shivers, Huntington Bank Regional President for the Mahoning Valley and Canton Regions. “Huntington is proud to be a member of this market and we are privileged to witness its resurgence and growth. The overall Riverfront Park project is very exciting for our community and serves as a visibly appealing gateway to the City of Youngstown. The Huntington Bank Community Alley aligns perfectly with our mission to help make people’s lives better, help businesses thrive and strengthen the communities we serve.”

“Huntington Bank is not just a bank that’s downtown, but a downtown community partner. Huntington continues to show what a community partner should look like in the City of Youngstown. We are incredibly grateful for their partnership,” remarked Mayor Jamael Tito Brown about the impending completion of this project.

The final construction phases of the area are slated for late summer. The Huntington Bank Community Alley will begin hosting scheduled events upon construction completion.

About The Riverfront Park
The Riverfront Park is nestled in the heart of Downtown Youngstown, but encompasses an identity all its own as the front door to the City of Youngstown. With uncharted frontiers, the Riverfront Park and The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre (located inside the park) has sustained the excited anticipation from the community with its promise of what its existence will give to the area.

Families enjoy plush, grassy knolls to picnic, downtown residents walk to summer concerts, art curators participate in festivals in their own backyard, and employees of downtown businesses jog or walk the well-appointed trails that circulate the park after work.

The Riverfront Park reflects the spirit of its urban setting while, at the same time, projecting the nature of community fellowship. It has pioneered Downtown Youngstown’s next steps in progression while embracing the beloved traditions native to this area we all call “home”. The Park has an identity that envelopes evolvement but appreciates tradition; its identity values revitalization but respects history. The Riverfront Park is owned by The City of Youngstown and proudly managed by JAC Management Group.
