POLICIES & ACCESSIBILITY
PROVIDING A SAFE AND ENJOYABLE ATMOSPHERE
Our staff works diligently to ensure a safe environment for all of our guests. We take every step necessary to ensure the safety of all who attend the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre events. Security personnel reserve the right to determine the method of security checks as deemed prudent and necessary. These may include metal detectors, and searches of jackets, clothing and other items upon entry to the arena.
In accordance with heightened homeland security standards being employed by entertainment facilities across the country, the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre will be strictly enforcing our security policies. The only exceptions will be for medical necessities. We ask that you consult the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre security policies below, where banned items and medical necessity procedures are outlined.
NO BAG POLICY
Only clear and see-through bags no larger than 12” x 12” x 6” and clutches no larger than 8.5” x 5.5” x 1” will be permitted. Exceptions may be made for medical bags and diaper bags.
WHAT ITEMS YOU ARE PERMITTED TO BRING INTO THE YOUNGSTOWN FOUNDATION AMPHITHEATRE:
- Binoculars and cell phones are permitted after security search.
- Banners and signs may only be brought into the building after authorization from Security. Banners and signs may not be hung up and must be removed after the conclusion of the event.
- Rain ponchos.
WHAT ITEMS YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BRING INTO YOUNGSTOWN FOUNDATION AMPHITHEATER:
- No laser pointers, air horns, or noisemakers.
- Weapons of any type or other items deemed dangerous by security.
- No large bags, backpacks, or sealed containers (including gifts for entertainers)
- No bottles, cans, flasks, thermoses or coolers.
- No outside food or beverages of any kind may be brought into the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre. Concession stands sell a wide variety of food, alcohol, and non-alcoholic beverages to accommodate your needs. Exceptions will be made for small children’s snacks in clear plastic baggies or unopened juice pouches. 1 per child. No juice boxes. Patrons requesting to bring in outside food or beverage for health conditions must contact [email protected] prior to coming to the arena.
- No video recorders, audio recorders or similar electronic devices, including iPads and tablets.
- No professional cameras.
- All non-permitted items must be returned to your vehicle. The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre will not assume responsibility for these items. Confiscated items will not be returned.
- No umbrellas.
GUEST CONDUCT
The following behaviors are grounds for eviction from the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre. Once removed from the amphitheatre, there will be no re-entry. Continued attempts to re-enter after removal may result in arrest.
- Use of profanity or unacceptable language towards guests or employees
- Possession of illegal or unauthorized items
- Unacceptable or indecent dress
- Failure to obey or follow the smoking policy
- Use of illegal substances, or public drunkenness
- Enter, or attempt to enter any “off limits” areas such as playing surface, stage area, backstage or restroom of the opposite sex
- Participating in a fight
- Verbally abusing, threatening or intimidating other guests or Amphitheatre employees
- Throwing of any objects or projectiles, anywhere in the facility
CAMERA POLICY
No professional cameras (with lenses 6 inches or more).
EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
No exchanges or refunds. Events held rain or shine.
RE-ENTRY POLICY
The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre has a no re-entry policy. After exiting the facility you will not be permitted to return, unless on an emergency basis that was authorized by security.
There is a first aid station located near the main gate. EMS staff contracted through Mercy Health Partners is on site for all events, and an ambulance is standing by for transport.
SERVICE ANIMALS
In accordance with Ohio Revised Code section 955.43, trained service dogs assisting guests are welcome inside the facility. Dogs must be kept on a leash or harness at all times, and not occupy a seat. If the dog is in training the agency training the dog must have an insurance policy and produce proof of the policy, protecting the public from injury.
SOLICITATION/VENDING
No solicitation, collecting of contributions, signatures, vending, or distribution of fliers or other promotional or advertising materials is permitted anywhere on the premises.
LOST AND FOUND
Lost and found is located at the administration desk at the Covelli Centre following an event. Items can be retrieved Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The administration desk’s phone number is 330-746-5600 (ex. 5104). Lost items can be given to any security guard, usher, or supervisor to be taken to lost and found.
PARKING
- No curbside parking around the Amphitheatre is permitted. Unattended vehicles parked in no parking areas will be towed at the owner’s expense.
- Passenger drop off and pick up is at the turn around the area outside of the main gate. At no time are any vehicles permitted to be parked in this area.

Parking is available in the #1 Cochran Chevrolet Buick GMC Main Parking Lot at The Covelli Centre. Patrons may park and take the short walk along the well-appointed and beautifully lit promenade to the amphitheatre.

DOORS/OPENING TIMES
The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre’s doors open one hour before the start of each event unless specifically requested by the show. Opening times can be delayed by the show until they are prepared to accommodate the public.
RAIN GEAR POLICY
Umbrellas are not permitted. Rain ponchos are permitted to be brought into the amphitheatre. Rain ponchos will also be available for purchase on site.
ATM/CREDIT CARD
CHAIR POLICY/BLANKETS
Unless personal lawn chairs are otherwise prohibited, a lawn chair with seat no higher than 16” off the ground with a back no higher than “36 inches total height into the facility for both community events and national concerts. This policy is subject to change in the future. A standard beach chair is recommended. Chairs will also be available for rent. This is the only other type of chair that is permitted to enter the facility. No plastic, wooden, folding chairs or any other style of chair will be permitted. It is important to note that the bags/cases that these chairs come in will not be permitted into the facility. No tents or obstructive canopies or umbrellas of any kind will be allowed into the facility. All chairs will be checked at security upon entry. These personal lawn chairs will be permitted for all events, including national concerts as well as the Premier Banks Community Event Series. See individual event page listings for more details. Management reserves the right to prohibit items at the door. VIP Lawn seats have a venue provided chair included in the cost of the ticket. Any ticketed event with reserved sections will have venue provided chairs in those seat locations. Blankets will be permitted for all events. See photo below for reference.
DONATION REQUESTS
The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre will review all donation requests at the beginning of each quarter. In order to be considered for a donation, you must email your request to Jared Laczko [email protected]. If you have any questions, please call 330-746-5978.
FOOD TRUCK VENDOR INFO AND APPLICATION
As you can imagine, the interest in vending at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheater is immense. In order to make sure each date is secured with the proper number of vendors to adequately supply our guests with the best service, please read the following and apply using the application form. All vendors will be properly vetted prior to approval. Once approved, vendors will be assigned dates as they arise. Dates will continually need filled as events are announced. Vendors may not request certain dates or a certain number of dates.

Things you need to know:
- All vendors will need a current Ohio Food Service Operational License (a copy of this
license must be submitted with your application.) - If you don’t have an Ohio Food Service Operational License, you will need to obtain a
temporary license from the Youngstown City Health Department. These licenses take
three weeks to acquire. Once your temporary license is issued, you will need to
forward a copy to us. - Dates will be assigned by JAC Food & Beverage Management Group
- Arrival and departure times will be set by JAC Food & Beverage Management Group.
There are no deviations. - All menus and pricing will be approved by JAC Food & Beverage Management Group
during the application process. There will be no sales of beverages unless otherwise
approved. - You will receive all show information, along with expected attendance, one week prior
to event date. Please plan adequately. - In lieu of a rental fee, JAC Food & Beverage Management Group will collect a
pre-determined commission-based fee . This will be settled prior to your departure at
the end of the night. - Once your application is approved, a $250 deposit will be required to hold your date. It
will be refunded seven days after the commitment has been fulfilled.
ADA SEATING AND ACCESSIBILITY

The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre is an ADA friendly facility. It is accessible and comfortable to accommodate your special needs. To better accommodate your needs, we request that all special seating accommodations be solicited only through one of our representatives.
- Each of the men’s and women’s restrooms, as well as the 2unisex/family restrooms near the main gate are handicap accessible.
- Water fountains are wheelchair height accessible.
ADA SENSOPLAY
SensoPlay has provided the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre with Sensory Kits and a sample social story of an event so guests with special needs can have the best experience possible! SensoPlay kits are designed to support individuals of all ages with a variety of sensory needs.
Each kit includes an assortment of useful tools to help individuals enjoy an event with greater comfort. Kits also include identification, in the event that an individual is separated from their family at the event.
These sensory kits include:
- Drawstring bag
- Noise canceling headphones
- Antiglare glasses
- Sensory fidget toys
- Communication Card
- Sanitizing wipes and tissues
- ID wristband
- 2 ID cards
- Dry erase marker
- Venue map
These sensory kits and social story can be picked up at the box office at the event. A parent or adult will be required to leave a valid ID/license, which will be returned once bags are brought back to the box office. You can also download the social story prior to the event. This is a complimentary service.
